About the Ice Falcons Hockey Club

Building Champions Since 1995

The Ice Falcons Hockey Club has been fostering a passion for hockey and developing young athletes from the East Meadow, Levittown, and Hicksville school districts since 1995. We provide a non-school-affiliated platform for students in middle and high school to hone their skills on the ice while learning invaluable life lessons in teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.

Our program is privately funded through tuition payments from families, without any financial support from the school districts. Over the years, the Ice Falcons have built a strong championship pedigree, competing in the New York Islanders High School Hockey League (NYIHSHL) and earning multiple county championships and state tournament appearances.

Our History

The Ice Falcons were formed when the Levittown Falcons merged with the East Meadow Ice to create a united hockey club. Over the years, the team has evolved, with players coming from various school districts. Today, the Ice Falcons proudly represent students from five different high schools and multiple middle schools across the East Meadow, Levittown, and Hicksville districts.

A Tradition of Excellence

From the beginning, the Ice Falcons have been committed to excellence both on and off the ice. Our teams compete in three divisions within the NYIHSHL:

  • Varsity Conference II Division: East Meadow / Levittown / Hicksville Varsity

  • Junior Varsity East Division: East Meadow / Levittown / Hicksville JV

  • Middle School East Division: East Meadow / Levittown / Hicksville MS​

We adjust the number of teams as needed to accommodate player enrollment, ensuring that every athlete has the opportunity to play and grow in a supportive, competitive environment.

Our Coaching Staff

Our coaches are dedicated professionals with deep experience in youth, junior, and college hockey. Many of our coaches are alumni of the program who remain passionate about guiding the next generation of players. Importantly, none of our JV or Varsity coaches currently have children in the program, underscoring their commitment to the club and its continued success.

Alumni Success

Each year, many of our graduates go on to play hockey at the college or Junior (20U) level. We’re proud of the opportunities our program provides, and we continue to welcome back alumni to practices where their contributions and leadership are always appreciated.
